Streams panel#
Streams are grouped by category discovered from the recording (Experiment, Audio, Optical, Display, Motion, System, Radio, RF Spectrum (SDR), Synthesis…). Each row shows:
- a checkbox — show as a timeline track;
- the track colour bar;
- the stream name, and below it the kind, sample count, rate and units;
- ⚠ N quality warnings and the class badge.
Click a row to select the stream. The selection drives the Inspector's Stream and Raw data tabs, the Audio spectrum panel and the Histogram view.
Derived and detected streams#
Streams computed by NOESISReader appear alongside recorded ones with a DERIVED badge: envelopes, spectral features, jerk, gravity estimate, counter rates, video motion energy, RF band series, RF sweep summaries and detector outputs. Their stream IDs start with derived: or detected..
Events panel#
Filter buttons choose what is listed: All, Recorded (written by NOESIS), Detected (found by NOESISReader detectors) or Human (your annotations).
| Row element | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Left bar colour | Green = recorded, blue = detected, white = human. |
| Time · kind | Event time and type (for example trial-host-marker, audio-impulse, rf-peak-appearance). |
| origin · conf | Origin and, for detections, the detector confidence. |
| Second line | Source stream and detail. |
| ✕ | Delete (human annotations only). |
- Click a row to jump to that event. Rows near the cursor are highlighted.
- Hover a detected event to see the algorithm that produced it.
- + Note opens the annotation dialog at the cursor.
